Manager, Human Resources and Safety Compliance

What you Will Do:
ERTH Corporation is seeking a dynamic individual with proven experience to join our team as a Manager, Human Resources and Safety Compliance. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee Human Resources activities and lead the organization’s Health and Safety program. You will play a key role in facilitating organizational alignment to ERTH’s values of Safety First, Customer Focus, Innovation, Sustainability and Performance Excellence.
In this hands-on position, key responsibilities will include:
Human Resources Management
Provide leadership across all HR functions, including talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and succession planning.
Develop, implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Lead HR reporting and metrics to support data-driven decision-making and compliance monitoring.
Foster an inclusive, positive, and high-performing workplace culture
Health & Safety
Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Health and Safety program.
Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, training programs, and compliance documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and standards
Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions.
Promote a culture of wellness and safety, integrating well-being into day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources (or related), or Human Resources Management Certificate.
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or equivalent would be an asset.
Minimum five years of relevant management experience.
Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation, including:
Employment Standards Act
Occupational Health & Safety Act
Workplace Safety and Insurance Act
Pay Equity Act
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, confidentiality, and high ethical standards.
Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
