NETWORK ANALYST

The Network Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, design and integrity of the overall network infrastructure including installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring and support of all network resources including firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, phone VOIP systems and any network related components. 

Duties include:

• Installation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshoot of local and wide area network technology components such as firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, phone VOIP systems.
• Responsible of the overall life-cycle management of all network systems and components , including technology evaluation and assessments, maintenance and upgrades, deployment and configuration, asset management, performance reporting and escalations, incident and problem management.
• Responsible of all LAN/WAN/WLAN network related service requests generated by the Service Desk.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure that all LAN/WAN/WLAN network related equipment has latest authorized releases, patches and/or fixes applied.
• Collaborate and assist the IT team in company-wide IT infrastructure implementation and maintenance activities.
• Responsible of the network components of the Cisco UC VoIP systems, including CUCM, Unity,UCCX, TelRex, SIP, being able to escalate the network support incidents with vendors and service providers.
• Operate and maintain the existing Cisco MPLS/VPN/Wireless infrastructure, ensuring that configuration and network/transport layers of the operating systems are compliant and meet the industry security best practices.
• Ensure excellent communications between technical services staff and other staff members in the organization.
• Contribute to disaster planning for the organization to ensure appropriate IT service response with a focus of LAN/WAN/WLAN network related services.
• Responsible for network cyber-protection aspects of the IT security ensuring that the organization receives appropriate advice related to security risks and threats.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment has latest authorized releases, patches and/or fixes applied.
• Responsible of the overall corporate wide IP public and private schema, IP routing protocols, DHCP and DNS services.
• Evaluate and provide appropriate resolutions to workflow problems, network usage, organization and planning.

Applicants for this position should have the following qualifications:

• CCNP Certified
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-7 years’ experience as a Network Analyst
• Expert level knowledge of general IP routing
• Expert level knowledge of Cisco networking products (switches/routers, IPSec/VPN, ASA firewalls, Unified VOIP)
• Documentation and technical writing skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Server operating systems, VMware technology, SAN technologies, MPLS
