Manager of Settlement & Billing
Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Service and Conservation, the Manager of Settlement and Billing is responsible for all aspects of Brantford Power’s electricity market settlement and account billing, along with leading, managing, and organizing the daily work of a team performing settlement and billing functions. The incumbent is also responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan and business objectives for the Settlement and Billing department.
Applicants require post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent, combined with five to seven years comprehensive working knowledge of most aspects of the Ontario electricity utility industry, particularly customer services, market rules and settlement, meter data management, and billing; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and industry software, including MDM/R, RNI, ODS, ITRON MV-90 & MVRS, and Kinetiq applications, and Daffron CIS; proven leadership abilities and change management experience in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team environment; superior organizational, oral and written communication skills and demonstrated capacity to perform all duties within defined deadlines. Previous experience with a billing and/or CIS system conversion is considered an asset.
SALARY RANGE: $85,978 to $105,084 per annum (based on a 35 hour work week) plus benefits
