Settlement Analyst
Waterloo North Hydro Inc. (WNH) is a progressive electric distribution utility servicing the City of Waterloo and the Townships of Wellesley and Woolwich. Our team of dedicated employees strives to provide a safe and reliable supply of electricity to over 54,700 customers across a large urban and rural service area.
As a Settlement Analyst, you will be a key member of the Billing and Settlement Team. You will be responsible for analyzing and managing meter data from various sources. Through provincially prescribed regulations and rules and in-house processes and systems, you will ensure the collection of meter data (wholesale, retail and generation), market settlement (wholesale, retailer and generation) and billing quantities are processed in an accurate, cost effective and timely manner. Further the incumbent will remain current on codes, regulations, systems and processes impacting the above.
As the ideal candidate, you are a graduate of a post-secondary program with an emphasis on data management and/or financial analysis, you have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and data management software and you are analytical with excellent communication skills. Work experience in the Ontario electricity market would be considered an asset.
