The Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Financial Planning is accountable for leading, managing and continuously improving the regulatory and financial planning strategies and initiatives of the Corporation.  Regulatory initiatives include the preparation of rate applications, regulatory reporting, and analysis.  Financial planning includes short-term and long-term financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, as well as the preparation of business plans and analysis to support operating initiatives and/or new business development opportunities. In addition, this position is responsible for advancing management reporting and analysis through the development of management reports and Key Performance Indicator’s to support the attainment of corporate and strategic objectives.  This role also supports the strategic planning process for the Company, including the preparation of short and long-term financial plans to support the regulatory framework under which the Company operates. 

A Professional Accounting Designation with a minimum of five years in a senior finance or regulatory position is required. A sound working knowledge of utility accounting, regulatory issues and prior Management experience is considered an asset. The successful candidate will have strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of management. With solid business analysis and planning experience, the candidate is able to handle multiple projects and exercise good judgement in prioritizing tasks. Proficient use in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, is required.
