Electric Distribution Designer/Engineer – Toronto
Position Summary: Design of Electric Power Distribution Systems (Overhead and Underground), Civil Electrical infrastructure, Lighting etc. Prepare Design packages including drawings, calculations, technical specifications, bills of material, cost estimates and permit applications.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from a recognized College or University
Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in Electrical Power Distribution Design
Experienced in Auto Cad (experience with Micro Station an asset)
Knowledge of Electrical Engineering software and proficiency in MS Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills
Must have a valid Drivers’ License
Utility design experience in the Greater Toronto area an asset
P.Eng. designation an asset
