TEMPORARY RECORDS COORDINATOR – GROUP 3

 

ASSET MANAGEMENT STRATEGY

 

This temporary position reports to the Senior Manager, Asset Planning & Analysis.

 

 

Responsibilities will include: 

    • Interaction with Design Technicians, Engineers, Managers to ensure adherence to ESA and Enersource standards for records management/approvals
    • Coordinating workflow of engineering drawings and planned field work from Construction Supervisors;
    • Reviewing work order files to ensure completeness of information and scanning/importing these files into SPF
    • Updating/verifying AM/FM/GIS transformer information from JDE/Stores and cards created by Construction Supervisors
    • Processing D18’s and associated Connection Agreements
    • Updating JDE database with new equipment records
    • Processing outside printing requests
    • Assist in other departmental functions and projects as required 

Requirements: 

    • A College degree in a technical field, Geography, or Records Management, or equivalent work experience
    • Working knowledge of records and information management procedures
    • Strong working knowledge of G/Electric and SPF is important

    • Good understanding of engineering design practices and electrical theory
    • Solid communication skills combined with good interpersonal skills with a solid customer-service orientation

    • Strong team player

    • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and multitask in a fast paced environment

    • Knowledge of CAD software (MicroStation preferred)

    • Proficiency in Windows-based office applications including Word and Excel as required is essential.  Testing will be conducted.
    • Experience with GIS systems and MS SQL would be an asset.
