CORPORATE FINANCIAL ANALYST
Finance Division
Under the general direction and guidance of the Vice President, Finance, is responsible for providing overall accounting / finance / regulatory support within the Finance Division.
Qualifications:
Mandatory:
University degree together with a recognized professional accounting designation and a minimum of three (3) years of public accounting experience. Must have a sound understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). An advanced working knowledge of computerized information systems and PC based spreadsheet applications. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, customer service and teamwork principles is necessary. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills together with the ability to maintain professional and effective working relationships with customers, staff and outside agencies. Must be competent within the meaning of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Preferred:
An understanding of electrical utility billing practices; the Ontario Energy Board’s Rules and Regulations; and the Independent Electricity Systems Operator’s Settlement Procedures. Experience with Microsoft Office and CaseWare software.
