Power Systems Engineer (Temporary)

You are a Professional Engineer that currently possesses or is able to be licensed in the province of Ontario.  You have experience with electrical revenue meters, protection relays, remote communications and electrical power systems.  In addition, you have strong computer engineering skills.  You have computer expertise in .Net, SQL and Microsoft Office suite.  Experience in a utility environment and PQView are considered an asset.  People describe you as a self-motivated individual that is enthusiastic and innovative about what you do.  Your ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex problems make you a valuable contributor to any team that you are a part of.  With a focus on excellence and detail, you work well with a team, demonstrate integrity, build effective relationships, and negotiate with and influence others.

What would I be responsible for?  

Reporting to the General Manager, you would be responsible developing, implementing, and supporting power monitoring projects and provides technical expertise on power quality measurement and investigations. This position works closely with clients to analyze power measurement data as required and prepare reports and presentations on results and findings. 

This is a management group opportunity and salary will be commensurate with qualifications. 

This temporary opportunity will begin as soon as possible and go until June 2018.
