JOURNEYPERSON METER TECHNICIAN

 

ERTH (Holdings) Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ERTH Corporation, is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Journeyperson Metering Technician. 

The successful candidate will report to the MSP Program Manager, Ingersoll Ontario and will be responsible for accurately performing all Utility, MSP and third party metering duties. 

Hours of work may fluctuate, but will be limited to a maximum of twenty-four hours per week. Start and stop times will be established as required to meet the needs of the department.

Qualified applicants, who meet the following criteria as well as those noted in the attached job description, will be considered:

  • Secondary School Graduation Diploma – Grade 12 minimum
  • Post-Secondary graduate in the electric/utility field
  • MEA Journeyman Meterman Certification
  • MV-90 experience an asset
  • CPR/1st Aid
  • Valid Class G Drivers’ License
  • Ability to Multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to use sound judgment, is flexible and responsible
  • Ability to work independently ensuring deadlines/commitments are met
  • Must have strong communication and analytical skills
  • Must be organized
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Must be able to demonstrate focus and attention to detail
