WNH is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Manager of Finance and Regulatory. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the detailed development of the capital and operating budgets.
  • Prepare and present financial information to senior management.
  • Monitor, analyze and report monthly on the financial activity and forecasted year-end results.
  • Develop reporting tools and review financial processes to improve financial management and find efficiencies.
  • Ensure adherence to budget/financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the review of accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processes.
  • Provide guidance and assistance on financial matters to all departments.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on all capital assets including review of internal work requests.
  • Coordinate the annual auditing process.
  • Develop and implement financial models as required.
  • Responsible for the administration of our ERP software.
  • Assist with the financial components of regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • A professional accounting designation (CPA-CMA/CGA/CA) and a post-secondary degree in Business or Accounting.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a finance or budgeting environment with emphasis on financial and strategic planning, reporting, analysis and forecasting. 
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of and ability to work with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
