POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position:	Co-op Student Technologist/Labourer
Supervisor:	Engineer and Manager of Operations

Basic Job Functions:

E.L.K. Energy Inc. is currently seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of Co-op Student Labourer/Technologist for approximately 3.5 month period. Under the supervision of the Engineer & Manager of Operations, the successful candidate will assist with various asset management programs.

Duties:

Assist with asset management programs.
Assist with the work order packages for various electricity distribution system projects.
Assist with shipping/receiving and handling of inventory.
Assist with yard maintenance.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in post-secondary electrical engineering, electrical technology or related program.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have working knowledge of AutoCad.
Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain professional and effective working relationships.
Organized, with proven ability to work independently.
An ability to meet the public and maintain a good working relationship with fellow employees
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Must possess a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with a good driving record.
