Powerline Technician
With over 100 years of experience, EPCOR Water Canada works with industry, municipalities and communities to design, build, finance and operate water and wastewater treatment plants, distribution and collection systems. We serve more than 85 communities and industrial sites in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan, making sure that the water exceeds public health, environmental and industrial requirements.
The Powerline Technician performs skilled and hazardous electrical work in the installation, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground electric distribution lines, transformers, and related equipment.
EPCOR has two (2) permanent full-time positions available in Collingwood, ON!
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Powerline Technician,is accountable for, but not limited to:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
To ensure success in this role, you will possess strong communication skills both written and verbal and demonstrate a strong work ethic. You have the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and are able to provide leadership and coaching to your team members.

Class: 1470
Hours of work: 80 hours bi-weekly
The successful candidate must also participate in the on-call rotation system and reside within 45min of the EPCOR Collingwood service centre as per the Collective Agreement.
Out of town work may be required.
