Requires a

Billing Supervisor

Reporting to the Interim Manager of Customer Service & Billing, the Billing Supervisor will provide leadership, coaching and development opportunities for a team of Meter Data & Billing Coordinators. As the owner of all billing related activities, the Billing Supervisor will also ensure all business and regulatory objectives associated with billing requirements are achieved and maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating a welcoming, positive, supportive and collaborative work environment by encouraging teamwork, creativity and excellence. 

The successful applicant will possess a post-secondary education in a business related field or equivalent work experience and 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in an Ontario electricity utility customer service or billing department. Working knowledge of all aspects of the Ontario electricity utility industry, particularly the Distribution System Code, Retail Settlement Code, Standard Supply Service Code, customer service rules and billing practices is required. Experience in the Harris NorthStar CIS is preferred. Demonstrated supervisory and advanced analytical and organizational skills, the ability to work creatively and independently are also essential to success in this position. Proficiency in MS Office is essential for success in the position. Applicants will be required to undergo skills assessment testing.
