SENIOR BILLING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK
Milton Hydro Distribution Inc. requires a Senior Billing and Customer Service
Clerk in their Billing/Customer Service Department.
Reporting to the Billing and Customer Service Supervisor(s), this position
responds efficiently and professionally to all customer enquiries related
to billing, collections, service transactions and energy efficiency; processes the
transactions resulting from these calls and performs other core functions in the
areas of billing, collections and payment entry.
The successful candidate should hold a post-secondary diploma in call centre
applications or business/office administration and have a minimum of 2-3 years
of call centre or customer service experience, preferably in a utility environment.
A proven team player, you possess strong problem-solving and communication
skills and have an aptitude for mathematics.
You will have a sound knowledge of the electric utility service supply policies,
rate structures, payment options, collection and privacy policies as well as
experience with Harris/NorthStar Customer Information System. Proficiency in
Microsoft office and Excel is also required.
