STOREKEEPER

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of Grade 12 secondary school diploma, or equivalent.
• Forklift experience and certification on Counter Balance diesel and electric units is required.
• A valid Ontario Driver’s ‘G’ License, in good standing.
• Material handling experience and knowledge of Electric Utility inventory desirable.
• Computer experience, preferably on AS400.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to multi-task and be trained in all Stores areas.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.

DUTIES:       

• Assist with the movement and recording of all material and equipment associated with the warehouse, tool crib and yard. 
• Operate various material handling equipment (forklift – diesel and electric, outside docks, docking bays, hand pump lifts, etc.).
• Applicants will frequently be required to lift heavy loads, up to a maximum of 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Relieve other staff in Stores, yard and tool crib.
• Other duties as assigned.
