Collections & Customer Service Representative

6-month Contract Position

Wellington North Power Inc. has an immediate opening for a Collections & Customer Service Representative.  This is an office-based 6-month contract position working 40 hours per week. 

Major Responsibilities include:

• Timely collection of utility accounts using a variety of collection methods;
• Contacting customers to request payment of overdue balances;
• Administration, customer communication and account resolution duties;
• Preparing disconnection notices to be delivered to customers; and
• Day-to-day customer service and cashiering duties. 

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Community college diploma in Business Administration or a related program or acceptable equivalent;
• Experience in a customer service-based environment with strong interpersonal skills;
• Self-motivated, detail orientated and organized; and
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and ability to quickly learn industry software applications.
