Sartor and Associates has been retained by Entegrus Powerlines Inc. to recruit a Distribution Engineer. The position is based in their St. Thomas office and reports directly to the Manager of Engineering.

Entegrus brings electricity, renewable energy and water services to approximately 62,000 customers in southwestern Ontario, while keeping safety, reliability and efficiency top of mind. CANDIDATE PROFILE
The Distribution Engineer or Engineer in Training will support distribution system engineering design work including: reviewing and monitoring of engineering designs and the development engineering processes; acting as a liaison between Engineering and other departments, as well as with external stakeholders and customers; and troubleshooting distribution system technology and perform engineering modelling and studies.

The position will work mostly in an office environment. Regular travel within service area will be required to visit job sites and crews. Travel out of town will also be required to attend meetings and conferences.
The position will involve visiting work sites under construction as well as active substations and other environments with energized apparatus.
