Customer Care Representative I (Contract)

Serving more than 157,000 residential and business customers in the City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Township of Woolwich, Township of Wilmot, and Township of Wellesley, Enova Power Corp. is the 7th largest electricity distribution utility in Ontario.

Primary contact for Enova Power Corp. customers to respond to general or account inquiries or re-direction to appropriate contacts. Note that this is for a one year contract and will be based out of our Country Squire location.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic MS Office Skills and use of Corporate Software
  • Basic time management and planning skills with the ability to multitask and adopt to changing industry standards
  • Able to deal with fellow employees and customers in a tactful and courteous manner
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic problem solving, critical thinking and trouble shooting skills within known procedures or precedents

Knowledge/Education:

  • Post secondary education in business or related discipline
  • Intermediate knowledge of industry standards, internal policies, billing classifications, rate structures and delinquency processes
  • Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements as it relates to individual, organizational and operational requirements

Experience:     

  • 2 years’ related experience

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete account changes based on customer requests and consistent with Enova processes
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner using various mediums
  • Act as an ambassador for Enova to proactively promote programs and initiatives
  • Greet and direct customers and contractors while visiting Enova offices
  • Properly and accurately process customer payments
  • Perform general administrative duties and ensure all reception area activities are completed
