ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is currently accepting applications for the position of:

Technical Services Advisor

(Hourly Rate $29.05 - $36.31)

 

Reporting to the Manager Engineering (Technical Services), the successful applicant will be responsible for processing ESA connection orders, performing field checks, designing and preparing service estimates, administering the tree trimming contract, preparing water permits, resolving billing errors and performing adjustments, resolving customer complaints, preparing NET Metering program paperwork, scheduling of services connections, service cuts and service reconnects, troubleshooting outages during storms, reporting and resolving meter tampering issues, preparing load reports and attending site meetings.

Hours of work will be 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. 

The successful applicant must possess the following qualifications: 

  • Must be a graduate of a two (2) year Electrical/Electronic Technician Program from a recognized Community College or possess a Certified Technician (C.Tech) designation from O.A.C.E.T.T., at the time of application.
  • Minimum two (2) years of similar or related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, other departments, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and ability to work independently and/or with minimal supervision.
  • Valid class ‘G’ driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with various office software packages including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Outlook, NorthStar, CIS, and ERP. Candidate must be willing and able to update skills as new software becomes available.
