Enova Energy Corporation was created in 2022 through the merger of the parent companies of Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro and Waterloo North Hydro. With more than 300 employees, it’s subsidiary Enova Power Corp. is the 7th largest electricity distribution company in Ontario, providing energy solutions to more than 157,000 residential and business customers in the City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Township of Woolwich, Township of Wilmot, and Township of Wellesley. Alliance Metering Solutions and Enova Energy Service Inc. are the unregulated subsidiaries.
Reporting to the Board of Directors of Enova Energy Corporation and Enova Power Corp., the new President & CEO will lead the regulated and unregulated companies forward as it completes its merger integration, executing its vision and pillars and instilling newly shared values across the organization. At the core of this role is a focus on inspiring others and engaging employees around the goal of value creation; developing an exceptional leadership team; being innovative and transformational with a compelling vision and clear plan of action; and doing this all with integrity and authenticity.
As a well-qualified candidate for this position, you combine a record of success in senior executive roles with experience aligning an organization, implementing strategy and leading change. You have a proven record of delivering strong financial performance, are open and transparent, able to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, collaborative and able to make quick, informed decisions, even without all the necessary information. You understand working in a unionized and regulated environment, are politically savvy without being political, customer-centric with a track record of building a strong community brand and possess a high level of business sense linking profitability to value creation for all stakeholders. You have a strong commitment to fostering diversity & inclusion, experience working with boards and an uncompromising approach to Health, Safety and the Environment.
