The Opportunity

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the implementation and maintenance of an integrated communications, marketing, sales, and branding strategy for all business lines (InnPower, InnServices & InnTerprises). 

This role is perfect for a roll-up your sleeves communications Professional who is passionate about Community relations and building strategy 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Collaborate with the Manager in content planning including research, maintaining and executing content calendar: scheduling content, coordinating resources, research and meeting deadlines. 
  • In collaboration with Manager, coordinate distribution of customer engagement & marketing materials. 
  • Coordinate with social media management, events, all communication efforts, and community and regulatory engagement for IPC and affiliated companies. 
  • Develop and implement content marketing initiatives on all selected channels. Lead the Customer Engagement Team to propose new ideas and concepts for social media content, website, customer engagement efforts, creative content, advertising, etc. 
  • Write for and contribute to various communications and marketing materials, such as presentations, event collateral, media releases, online content, intranet, and social media 
  • Research and analyze data of web trends and best practices, plan, create, and schedule content for all relevant social media channels and website, for Manager’s approval 
  • Draft solid messaging copy in the development of broadcast emails, social media, advertising, annual report, newsletters, corporate communications (executive speeches, presentations, etc.) 
  • Support strategic planning activities including the annual business plan 
  • Coordinate production and distribution of various marketing collateral including writing copy  
  • Monitor InnPower’s and affiliated companies' online presence, reviews and all industry related online content, news, social media, etc. 
  • Monitor daily Customer Service email, phone and written inquiries and distribute to appropriate desk as required. Will provide office back up support as required. 
  • Create internal and external surveys for staff 
  • Analyze and report statistics and metrics across social media channels, surveys and websites 
  • Creating forms (online and print) for both internal and external use, for all departments as needed. 
  • Develop, maintain and administer the corporate communications and marketing strategy. 
  • Other duties as assigned  

Qualifications:

  • College or University degree in the field of communications, marketing, public relations, media studies or related fields. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience with business social media platforms. 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in content and relationship marketing 
  • Previous Customer Service experience preferably with a utility. 
  • Experience in multiple social media platforms and strategies on a professional basis. 
  • Developing and maintaining social media strategy. 
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize several projects with a high attention to detail 
  • Prior experience with social media on a professional basis, monitoring tools and dashboards. 
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills 
  • Good knowledge of marketing, public relations and communications. Understand various marketing and communication strategies. Understand marketing, communications, and customer service best practices.
