CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Located in beautiful Niagara Region,Grimsby Power Incorporated, the local electrical distribution company for the Town of Grimsby is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to direct its affairs. 

The Corporation serves a customer base of over 10,000, and is committed to providing residents of the Town of Grimsby with a safe, reliable and economical supply of electrical energy. 

ACCOUNTABILITY: 

Accountable to a Board of Directors, your mandate would be to strategically manage the operations of the corporation as directed by the Board within the framework of established administrative, operational and capital budgets in conformance with established policies and legislative fiat. 

As CEO, you will be responsible to provide leadership to staff, and to develop strategic plans that would ensure the viability and profitability of the company for its primary shareholder, the Town of Grimsby. 

The CEO is accountable to our holding company Niagara Power Incorporated and will work with its affiliates Grimsby Hydro Incorporated and Grimsby Energy. 

This accountability includes but not limited to:

• Managing business activities and developing strategic long range planning for Grimsby Power

• Ensuring that Ontario Energy Board requirements are met

• Direct and mentor staff

• Manage labour relations

• Interact with stakeholders 

EXPERIENCE : 

To qualify for the position of CEO, you must satisfy a minimum requirement of 10 years experience at a senior management level, in the electricity distribution sector.  You must hold a recognized university degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Engineering or an MBA, with a proven record of accomplishments in your present and past areas of employment.
