Procurement & Engineering Administrative Assistant
Festival Hydro Inc., a Local Electricity Distribution Company located in the City of Stratford, Ontario, is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Procurement & Engineering Administrative Assistant. As part of the Engineering & Operations team, in this role you will be responsible for: creation of purchase orders; electronic receipt of goods and services; creation of stock count books for physical inventory; assisting with inventory and purchasing projects; maintenance of internal department documents; management of records including safety, maintenance, construction and hazardous waste; support of annual O.Reg 22/04 Construction Verification Program (CVP) audit; maintenance of system outage records; creation of customer correspondence for our saveONenergy conservation programs; and management of conservation records. This position will report directly to the Manager of Projects and Procurement.
Requirements
OSS Diploma with post secondary or continuing education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook) with advanced MS Excel skills. Ability to plan, balance and multi-task a variety of job responsibilities based on office needs. Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills - both one on one and in a group setting. Strong business writing and record keeping skills. Solid problem solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements. Working knowledge of material resource planning systems and understanding of inventory control principles an asset. Requires a valid Class “G” drivers license with a good driving record.
