eDSM Marketing Coordinator (12-month contract)

Canadian Niagara Power Inc. (CNPI), located in beautiful Fort Erie, is looking for an Electricity Demand Side Management (“eDSM”) Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Regulatory Advisor,  to promote and maximize the Independent Electricity System Operator (“IESO”)  eDSM programs for the customers within the service territories for the FortisOntario group of companies including Algoma Power Inc, Canadian Niagara Power Inc and Eastern Ontario Power.  This position is responsible for identifying target markets, developing distribution channels and recommending IESO programs through these channels. This position is also responsible for preparing IESO reporting as required under the eDSM agreements.

The successful candidate will use their skills and experience to design and execute marketing campaigns focused on increasing awareness and participation in the eDSM programs.

What makes you a successful candidate?

  • Post secondary education in Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales or a technical field.
  • Two (2) years in a Marketing/Sales, Customer Service or Conservation capacity
  • Independent worker who is very organized, self motivated and with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism when interacting with others and strong ability to build relationships
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities 
  • Highly proficient Microsoft office skills
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Ontario “G” driver’s license with a clean driving abstract. 
  • Regular travel to FortisOntario work locations is a requirement
