The Opportunity
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and management of internal and external field operations related to the electrical distribution system. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient construction, operation, and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure while supporting system reliability and customer service objectives.
The Manager provides strategic and operational leadership to the Operations Supervisor and internal and external field crews, ensuring that all construction, maintenance, emergency restoration, and service work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable legislation, utility standards, and corporate policies.
The Manager plays a key leadership role during outage restoration and system emergencies and may perform or support Controlling Authority duties when required.
