ERTH Corporation is currently seeking a Marketing, Communications & Sustainability Coordinator to support corporate communications, marketing, sustainability, electricity demand-side management (eDSM) and events across the ERTH group of companies.

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Relations and working closely with teams across the organization, the Coordinator will develop content, manage digital communications, help coordinate campaigns and events, and support initiatives that strengthen ERTH’s brand and relationships with customers, employees, communities and industry partners.

This is a newly created role with immediate availability and is an in-person located in Ingersoll, Ontario.  Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required to support events and other initiatives.

Salary Range $70,000 - $80,000

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop content for corporate and marketing channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, internal communications, newsletters, presentations and promotional materials.
  • Manage digital communications, including website updates, social media, email marketing, content calendars and publishing.
  • Create engaging visual and multimedia content, including graphics, photography and short-form video, while maintaining ERTH’s brand standards and visual identity.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day execution of marketing and communications campaigns and projects, including content development, timelines, approvals, execution and performance tracking.
  • Support the development of corporate communications, media materials and stakeholder communications as required.
  • Support electricity demand-side management (eDSM) marketing and customer engagement initiatives, including campaigns, partnerships, events, site visits and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate trade shows, conferences, webinars, customer forums, employee events and other corporate and community engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate community investment and sponsorship activities, including administration, communications and event support.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, including data collection, reporting, events and content development.
  • Assist with maintaining marketing and communications materials, photography, video and other digital assets.
  • Conduct research and track campaign, digital and event performance to support planning, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, community partners and other stakeholders to coordinate projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, event coordination or a related role is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience with digital marketing, content management and design tools such as WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite and Mailchimp.
  • Experience creating digital content, including graphics, photography and short-form video, is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of social media, digital communications and evolving marketing and communications trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of projects and learn new tools and subject matter.
