Valard Construction LP is currently seeking qualified Powerline Technicians to join our Toronto Hydro Grid Response Team. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, team players who are willing to work shift work plus overtime. Have a full understanding of the underground and overhead distribution systems. The ability to work collaboratively with a partner to effectively trouble shoot problems within the distribution system. 

Requirements

• Red Seal Distribution Lineman (Must have Red Seal Certificate or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 -10 years distribution experience
• Class 4 Rubber Glove experience
• Class DZ mandatory (preference to AZ)
• Working at Heights Cert up to date

• Positive Attitude and good work ethic
• Living in Toronto Area
• Previous Toronto Hydro experience
• Current UWPC
• Standard First Aid (CPR/AED)
