Manager, Engineering & Continuous Improvement

GrandBridge Energy requires a Manager, Engineering & Continuous Improvement. This position will report directly to the VP, Engineering & Continuous Improvement and will be a key role within the Engineering department. The Manager, Engineering & Continuous Improvement will be involved in the design and execution of both capital and operating distribution system projects. The individual will also lead strategic projects to enable workflow automation, process improvement, and development of team KPIs. The successful individual will provide leadership to a comprehensive team of technical and non-technical professionals, develop policies, procedures, and initiate grid modernization projects to enable GrandBridge to be a leader within the electrical industry. 

We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently but also be a positive team player/leader This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science and a minimum of 7-10 years of utility experience with at least 3 years at a supervisory level. An MBA or experience in an electric utility or electric industry is considered an asset. The candidate must have familiarity with electrical distribution designs, smart grid technologies and industry standards and practices. Leadership training and Project Management experience would be a strong asset for this position. The candidate must also have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, GIS Systems and Auto Cad. A valid Class G Driver’s License in good standing is also required.
