It is within this context that Alectra is now searching for an Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (EVP & CFO).
The CFO reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for all aspects of corporate finance, treasury, taxation, investor relations, financial reporting and control, regulatory affairs, strategy and sustainability, and enterprise risk management. The CFO acts as a strategic business partner and collaborates with leadership across the organization and includes developing innovative approaches to structuring and financing the business, investigating strategy and sustainability opportunities, and implementing a systemic approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. This role develops and maintains relationships with regulators, credit rating agencies, lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community and assists in balancing a holistic approach that examines risk from operational, financial, market, compliance, reputational and strategic perspectives.
As the ideal candidate you have demonstrated progressive experience in a leadership role working alongside senior business leaders to drive optimal business outcomes. You have a strong understanding of capital markets and a successful track record of developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders. You have experience in a larger organization executing complex financial deals to support significant and sustained growth. You have a leadership track record fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment. Your business acumen, excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, agility, track record of driving innovation, and strong executive presence will serve you well in taking on this exciting opportunity.
