In September 2022, Kitchener Power Corp. and Waterloo North Hydro Holding Corporation merged to become Enova Energy Corporation. The respective electricity distribution companies Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro Inc. and Waterloo North Hydro Inc. also merged to become Enova Power Corp.
We are seeking an individual who is interested in serving on the Board of Enova Power Corp. as an independent Director. Enova Power Corp. is the local distribution company for the Cities of Kitchener and Waterloo, and the Townships of Woolwich, Wilmot, and Wellesley.
The Board provides strategic direction and oversight of the corporation. Directors must have a strong knowledge of business issues and corporate governance and be committed to working collaboratively as part of a diverse team. Prior board experience in the private, public, or community sector would be beneficial.
The Board is looking for one independent Director that will complement the knowledge, skills, and experience of the directors on the new Board. Suitable candidates will be senior executive business leaders with preference given to those with skills and or experience in the Energy Sector, Engineering (preferably within the energy sector), Regulatory and Public Policy, or Legal and Privacy. Knowledge or experience in Finance and Audit would be an asset.
