Engineering Technologist
Reporting to the Assets & Engineering Supervisor, this role is tasked with the design and development of the distribution infrastructure, encompassing all related projects and connections. Additionally, the role provides technical information and services to utility customers or their representatives. This includes, but is not limited to, preparing cost estimates, drafting project specifications, evaluating transformers, conducting site inspections, testing equipment, and utilizing computer-aided drafting tools.

*Please note this is a full-time unionized position based on the Power Worker’s Union Collective Agreement. The current hours of work are from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The successful applicant must be available to assist with after-hour emergencies as required.
*Pay and Benefits are per the Collective Labour Agreement.

The years of service will be recognized at the rate of 50% of directly related post journeyman status with other LDC's.
