SENIOR OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

We are seeking an organized, dynamic and professional individual to take on this key position who will manage and coordinate tasks for the efficient functioning and success of the business under the direction of the Regional Manager. This role will understand and oversee the needs and challenges of the operational departments for optimal productivity and efficiency, ensure that operational goals are met and adhere to the Company’s policies, procedures, and Regulations. This position will lead and coordinate project management workflow for assigned projects, provide direct support for business development and contribute to internal and external stakeholder success while demonstrating a personal commitment to safety and the environment.

The ideal candidate will also have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management, with a business analysis focus, or related field.
  • A Master of Business Administration is considered a very strong asset.
  • Experience working in a utility environment and certification in project management are considered assets.
  • Ten (10) years experience in leadership and/or project management
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess the confidence and competency to work independently with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated a high level of attention to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in MS Office Suite; use of SAP would be considered an asset.
  • Fluent in both English and French would be considered an asset.
  • Must have a valid Ontario “G” driver’s license and maintain a clean driver’s abstract.
