Entegrus requires a dynamic and enthusiastic Corporate Communications Specialist for its Communications Department located in Chatham.  Reporting to the Director of Communications & Enterprise Transformation, this role will work with the Communications team to support and execute the organization’s internal and external communications strategy. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the community liaison and represent Entegrus at public events when required.
  • Monitor and maintain the Entegrus corporate brand image and ensure that it is properly deployed internally and externally.
  • Develop and execute project specific communication plans in order to ensure that key messages are consistently and effectively communicated.
  • Support event planning for internal and external corporate events.
  • Support, the development of an annual Corporate Marketing & Communications strategy and execute by way of media buying, ad design and/or the facilitation of ad design.
  • Write and edit press releases and other communications, including articles for publications and organizational announcements. Assist executives and managers with speeches and presentations.
  • Manage media inquiries by responding, rerouting or coordination interview requests.
  • Manage website, social media, and digital signage content, including writing and editing articles, and liaising with appropriate internal subject matter experts to ensure content is current, correct and effective.
  • Liaise with creative agencies regarding the creation of branded materials with respect to the company’s regulated and unregulated businesses.
  • Provide marketing and communication support to the other Departments by way of promotions, advertisements, and customer education pieces.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education – Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Communications, Journalism, or a similar area of study.
  • Experience – A minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications position in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge – Microsoft office and web applications. Photo and/or video editing software would be considered an asset.
  • Skills – Strong writing, editing and organizational skills.

Other – Possess and maintain a valid Ontario “G” Driver’s Licence with an acceptable Driver’s Abstract and the ability to conduct limited inter-office and conference/training travel. The regular hours of work are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., daily.  This is a salaried position and includes compensation and benefits in accordance with the company’s non-union benefit program.
