Job Title: Manager, Trades School & Work Methods
Expected Salary Range: $116487 - $145609 Annually
Target Variable Performance Pay: 15%
The salary range shown above reflects the expected compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, and alignment with the role’s requirements. For positions covered by a collective agreement, placement within the range will follow the applicable step or classification.
Responsible to oversee and effectively execute on the organizational training requirements and education programs (safety, technical and apprentice) and act as the Work Methods, subject matter expert for specific trade group (PSC/MM, DST, PLT-CPLP, PLT-CPCP). The incumbent will mentor apprentices, providing structured support and oversight for apprentice advancement and oversee the seamless integration of the newly graduating apprentices to operations. They will liaise with third party vendors, including colleges and universities, and
relevant government stakeholders, to enable that the current and future workforce staffing and talent needs of the organization are met. As the subject matter expert representing their trade, they will lead the identification and implementation of associated continual improvement to established procedures and work practices, new tools and equipment to improve worker safety, performance and/or experience.
