ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
This position reports to the Manager, Distribution Construction. This position will be responsible to assist in the safe inspection, installation, maintenance, programming, repair and testing of all types of revenue metering equipment and related systems used in Oshawa Power’s electrical distribution system.
Working under the direction of journeyperson Meter Technicians and in accordance with Measurement Canada, Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), Ontario Energy Board (OEB), and company standards, the Apprentice develops the skills required to become a journeyperson Meter Technician.
Hourly Rate: $36.52- $53.72 per our Collective Agreement with IBEW 636
