Communications Coordinator

(Maternity leave Position- 18 months)

 

We are currently searching for a highly motivated, results oriented, individual for the position of Communications Coordinator (Maternity Leave Position), Reporting to the Manager of Regulatory and Finance, this position is responsible for high level customer service to current and new customers, coordinating communication and engagement activities. Integrity, vision, professionalism and passion are key components of this position.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute quarterly newsletter, press releases and post them to website.
  • Prepare and distribute Annual Reports and post it to website.
  • Post social media updates on company Twitter and Facebook accounts and mobile application.
  • Update company website and other communication channels with up to date information to ensure accuracy of posted information.
  • Support Customer Service Department with daily activities and customer service programs
  • Assist with promoting new Customer Service portal
  • Distribute timely emergency communications
  • Develop and implement Engagement Plan with measurable results that address all classes of customer
  • Develop marketing strategies to engage customers and Channel Partners
  • Promote Save On Energy Programs through conventions, trade shows, public relations, presentations, and other promotional actions
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity of Save On Energy and Lakefront and adhere to the requirements of their brand standards
  • Coordinate employee training as necessary relating to Save on Energy Programs.
  • Be familiar with all Save On Energy initiative incentives, and application
  • Complete other job duties as necessary 

Qualifications

  • University Degree or college diploma or equivalent experience in Business communications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written and interpersonal.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
  • Ability to occasionally travel and attend events or exhibits.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with both internal and external clients and foster positive relationships.
