Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Station Sustainment, the Station Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, repairs and data gathering of substation equipment including station facilities, switchgear, power transformers, capacitors and capacitor banks, circuit breakers, DC systems, switches, monitoring equipment, etc. The incumbent is also responsible for underground cable fault locating and cable testing.
