We require a dynamic, highly motivated, and proactive Customer Service Manager to work out of our head office in Newmarket. This is a full-time position, with a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan. This role operates in a flexible hybrid setting, combining remote and in-person work arrangements.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for leading the Customer Service team in promoting excellent service, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. The Customer Service Manager plays a key role in the delivery of excellent Customer Service within the utility and outside agencies. The Customer Service Manager frequently engages with customers and must represent NT Power in a positive way.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Oversee the delivery of customer services in an efficient manner
Management of workflow functionality within the department
Establish and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and industry associations
Manage customer collections and disconnections
Implementation of regulatory requirements and rate changes related to approved orders from the OEB and Ministry of Energy
Ensure all OEB compliance levels are met in the delivery of customer service
Provide leadership and guidance through coaching, continued development, and performance management
Manage department projects and implement new or enhanced policies, and key initiatives to ensure quality and timely completion
Lead multi-department projects for utility and process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS

5–7 years of progressive experience in customer service, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Exceptional leadership and change management abilities
Strong analytical and business process skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to resolve customer complaints and foster positive relationships
Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Experience in a unionized utility or regulated environment is an asset

POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Communications Coordinator (1-Year Contract) plays a key role in strengthening NT Power’s online presence through strategic digital marketing, paid advertising, and content development. This position is responsible for executing targeted digital campaigns and managing communications across web and social media platforms to support NT Power’s strategic objectives, customer engagement goals, and brand reputation.
The successful candidate will oversee paid media and online outreach initiatives, ensure consistent brand voice across digital channels, and use analytics to optimize performance. Working closely with the Communications and Customer Experience teams, this role will help drive awareness of NT Power’s programs, initiatives, and community impact, while also supporting other communication projects as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                                  

Plan, develop, and execute digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, display advertising, YouTube, etc.).
Develop creative digital content including graphics, copy, and video assets aligned with NT Power’s brand identity and customer engagement goals.
Manage and monitor NT Power’s social media channels — scheduling content, responding to inquiries, and ensuring timely, accurate communication regarding service updates, energy programs, and community initiatives.
Track and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.) to measure reach, engagement, and ROI; prepare regular performance reports and recommendations.
Maintain and update website content, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and optimization for search (SEO) and user experience (UX).
Collaborate with internal teams to promote key initiatives, events, and service updates through digital channels.
Recommend and implement innovative digital strategies to strengthen NT Power’s online brand presence and customer engagement.
Contribute to the development of editorial calendars, digital ad schedules, and content plans aligned with organizational priorities.
Support and assist with other projects of the communications team, such as participating in events, event volunteer coordination, and internal and external communications as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Postsecondary university or college education with a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related field
Possess a strong understanding of effective marketing, communications and public relations techniques
Proven experience managing social media platforms, paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, etc.) and monitoring performance metrics.
Strong understanding of SEO, analytics tools, and audience
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different digital audiences.

The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Engineering Services Technician. This position plays a key role in providing technical and customer support for the design and servicing of new and existing industrial, commercial, and residential electrical distribution facilities. The role involves performing overhead and underground service analyses and designs, preparing estimates and work packages using Geographic Information System (GIS) and design software, conducting field assessments, and coordinating with customers, contractors, local authorities, and internal Operations teams to ensure all work meets Burlington Hydro’s standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
This is an on-site position at 1340 Brant Street, Burlington, and is a unionized role governed by the collective agreement. Eligible employees may participate in our Hybrid Work from Home Program, which allows for remote work one (1) day per week.
What You Will Do

Design overhead and underground electrical distribution layouts for new services and system upgrades, including conducting field assessments, data collection and related analyses
Prepare construction design packages, including drawings, sketches, labour and material estimates, and requisitions
Respond to customer, contractor, electrician, and other stakeholder inquiries regarding service requirements, policies, and standards; conduct on-site meetings when required
Assist with field layout of plant and perform associated calculations (e.g., guying, voltage drop, pulling tension)
Review and coordinate multi-lot developments such as subdivisions and townhouse projects
Investigate and resolve customer concerns related to voltage, vegetation/tree conflicts, or power quality
Act as a liaison between customers, internal crews, and external contractors to support coordinated project planning and execution
Prepare, monitor, and track instruction orders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely progress, completion, and proper closeout
Perform transformer loading and meter data analysis, recommend upgrades to address overload conditions, and monitor transformer and related asset stock levels relevant to design activities
Identify and report any damaged or deteriorated system assets observed while in the field

What We Are Looking For

Engineering Technician / Technologist diploma or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution
Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) and/or Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation is preferred
3–5 years of engineering experience in electrical distribution system design or equivalent technical environment
Valid G Class Ontario driver’s licence with a clean abstract

Develop, maintain and improve a broad spectrum of cost allocation and rate design models used in the derivation of Distribution and Transmission tariffs for Networks customers, including customers of acquired utilities.
Be accountable for the input on the design and implementation of pricing and rate models to support pricing and rate design for Networks Distribution and Transmission services. Work with business units to obtain necessary data for the models and input the necessary data and settlement records. Work with customers or customer representatives on highly controversial pricing issues.
Be accountable to develop rate design options consistent with regulatory principles and corporate policies and strategies. Ensure rate design models are operational and evaluate and compare results with existing tariffs. Perform analytical studies to assess the impacts of rate design on customers bills.
Provide strategic advice to the rate design process and prepare and present results of studies, analysis and rate proposals for Senior Management review and approval. Participate to support the Regulatory process to obtain the necessary approvals to implement the proposed Transmission and Distribution tariffs. Provide consultation and support to internal and external clients and stakeholders during the development of rate proposals, while the proposals are being reviewed and during the implementation phase of the proposed rates. Provide advice and guidance on pricing policies to respond to Government, the Regulator and customer inquiries.
Provide strategic advice and guidance on the design and implementation of cost allocation and rate design principles dealing with Distribution and Transmission and other related tariffs. Provide existing and emerging pricing concepts through literature reviews, selfstudy and participation in workshops and seminars. Keep abreast of Distribution and Transmission pricing rate/design developments in other jurisdictions and of Government and the Ontario Energy Board policies related to the electricity industry and its impact on Distributors and/or Transmitters.
Provide leadership and guidance to teams of staff assigned to assist with the development of pricing tools in the Company, Government, Independent Electricity System Operator, or the Ontario Energy Board or other related organizations. Plan work, coordinate staff activities, if required, advise and provide guidance to staff on technical or business issues, monitor progress and take necessary corrective actions to ensure successful completion of assigned duties.
Lead and support the development and implementation, of various pricing and rate design options for business planning and business analysis and assist in the development of business and strategic cases for continuous improvement that will enhance the overall delivery of the economic analysis and rate design model for the Company.
Represent the Company on task forces and committees to inform and educate external stakeholders in the areas of rate design and pricing policies, programs and processes that impact directly or indirectly upon them. Qualifications
Technical Knowledge

Requires experience in cost allocation and rate design practices and the development and implementation of regulated rates.
Requires experience in the processes, systems and analytical models used to assess pricing and service options.
Requires familiarity with the Ontario Energy Board’s regulatory process including evidence preparation and responding to interrogatories and undertakings.
A period of over 8 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
Requires knowledge of economics, quantitative analysis and statistics.
Requires working knowledge of computer applications (e.g. Word, Power Point) and an understanding of information database management systems (e.g. SAS, Excel, Microsoft Access).

Primary Duties
The Powerline Technician constructs, maintains and repairs overhead and underground distribution system infrastructure. They will perform switching operations, troubleshoot issues and respond in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Construct electrical infrastructure to proper engineered drawings and plans.
2. Complete repairs or replacement of switches, insulators, transformers, load break centres, terminations and other infrastructure.
3. Complete pre-trip inspections on commercial vehicles prior to use and operate heavy equipment required to complete work.
4. Respond to outages and emergencies consistent with required response times.
5. Complete all required documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
6. Inspect electrical infrastructure to identify and diagnose issues before failures can occur.
7. Troubleshoot issues and decide on the most effective solution.
8. Collaborate with team members to discuss repair/construction work and required safety precautions.
9. Comply with all health and safety requirements, maintain a safe work environment, report hazards and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
Education, Certification and Other Qualifications Required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Advanced knowledge of the Utility Work Protection Code

Position Summary
The Manager, Energy Services and Grid Modernization helps to design, develop, and implement advanced electrical grid systems to create more efficient, reliable, and sustainable power network.  This role is responsible for grid intelligence technologies, automation, stations, SCADA, OMS and the day-to-day operations of the metering and smart grid environment. 
General Duties and Responsibilities:
 Metering and AMI

Supervise the installation and maintenance of C&I Metering for GS customers and smart metering process for all customers ensuring data accuracy
Operation and maintenance of the AMI network and oversight of ERTH’s settlement provider and head end
Oversee the day-to-day work planning and scheduling of metering employees
Grid Protection, Modernization and System Engineering

Schedule maintenance, repairs, upgrades and capital projects
Conduct reliability analysis, load flow studies and provide recommendations for distribution system investment and load growth studies with HONI & IESO
Assist with procurement and contract documentation
Coordinate internal resources and vendors to ensure effective execution of projects are delivered on time and within budget
Technical Leadership and Support

Lead and support the grid modernization by conduction assessments, evaluating technology options, providing technical analysis to develop specification and requirements for advanced technological implementations
Technical lead and support for SCADA improvements, emerging DER technologies and protection and control systems
Oversee Engineering technologists
Management of ERTH Power’s control room, currently operating (5*8 hours, including staff, scheduling, UWPC compliance and outage tracking/reporting.)

What You Will Do:
• Construct, maintain, and operate both overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
• Participate in job planning activities, including completing tailboards, to assess hazards and coordinate tasks.
• Set up appropriate work area protection in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform line work using approved methods such as rubber glove techniques and live line tools.
• Install, maintain, and operate various system components including poles, conductors, guy wires, switches, switchgear, transformers, cables, splices, terminations, and substation components—on the ground, at height, or in confined spaces.
• Safely operate and maintain motorized vehicles and equipment such as bucket trucks, radial boom derricks, aerial devices, portable generators, power saws, and drills.

What You Will Bring:
• Meet or exceed the requirements of a 2nd Year Powerline Technician Apprentice in terms of hours worked, schooling status, competencies, and skills.
• Proficient with the construction of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
• Possess strong technical knowledge on the operation of the electrical distribution system, as well as the electrical equipment and mapping that comprises the electrical system.
• Experienced in the troubleshooting and repair of the electrical distribution system.

What You Will do:
The Supervisor, Credit & Collections is responsible for overseeing GrandBridge Energy’s credit and collections operations, including electricity and water billing accounts. Work closely with other departments to address customer-impacting issues and drive continuous improvement.
Partner with the Supervisor, Customer Service, and other internal teams to develop and execute cross-functional strategies that improve customer experience and collections effectiveness.
Support and promote community outreach initiatives and low-income assistance programs to assist customers in financial hardship.
 What You Will Bring: 

A college diploma in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience of five (5) or more years in Ontario LDC Customer Service is required.
Comprehensive knowledge of Ontario’s electricity industry, including the Distribution System Code, Retail Settlement Code, Standard Supply Service Code, EBT Standards, and related billing practices.

What You Will Bring:

A minimum five years of related station and distribution equipment experience, including P&C and SCADA, in a utility setting. 
A Journeyperson Substation Electrician Certificate from the MEARIE Group.
Specific knowledge of GE and SEL relays, S&C switches and switchgear, G&W reclosers and switchgear, Elastimold switchgear, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and communication devices, ABB relays, and Cooper controllers would be an asset.
You must hold a valid class “G” driver’s licence. 
You must have the physical ability to perform duties in both an inside and outside environment. 
Proficiency in intermediate use of Microsoft Office software applications and ability to accurately perform basic mathematics required to perform this role.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of the field operations of the electrical distribution system, which includes but is not limited to construction, maintenance, service, and project management and coordination.
 
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

Provide leadership and efficient and effective supervision of operations personnel, contractors, and expenses that impact the Corporation including but not limited to the following: Project Supervision, Emergency Response, Subdivisions, Repairs and Restoration of Service, Overall System Reliability and Maintenance.
Perform Supervisor duties related to occupational hazards, safety precautions, regulations and procedures that are applicable to the Construction and Maintenance of the distribution system.
Ensure compliance with all Company and applicable regulatory rules, regulations, and policies.

Ensure safe and efficient operation of the Corporation’s electrical distribution system.
Approve and issue all operational maps, switch orders (OTOs), utility work protection code (UWPC) and other operational documents and orders to ensure safety and reliability of workers and equipment, including acting as an active Controlling Authority agent.
Responsible for performance coaching/appraisals and the recruitment, development, training, engagement and retention of team members to adequately staff the required work, including after hours.
Foster positive employee relations through meetings, events, handling complaints, and employee recognition.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the Corporation, external contacts and the public.
Develop and maintain safe work practices, standards, policies and procedures involving distribution operations.
Responsible for organizing and leading regular safety meetings involving the field staff.
Assist with ensuring all work orders are completed and the relevant paperwork filled correctly while meeting the demands of our customers and regulatory requirements.
Assist in preparation of cost estimates and capital improvement requisitions for projects.
Assist in vegetation management by inspecting sites and planning follow up work for line crew and tree contractors.
Assist with processing of necessary paperwork for recoverable and non-recoverable jobs (i.e. invoices, police reports, photos, documentation, as-built drawings).
Assist with the implementation of new or innovative technologies.
Assist with planning and coordinating all internal and contracted work and perform routine inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds all set expectations and safety requirements.

Qualifications 

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Powerline Trade
Minimum of 3 years experience Supervising Powerline crews as crew leaders or supervisors.
Excellent knowledge of electrical distribution systems and applicable construction standards.
Knowledge and understanding of the occupational hazards, safety precautions, regulations and procedures that is applicable to the area of work.
Demonstrated experience with construction materials, safe work methods and practices.
Must be familiar with relevant trade and regulatory policies and procedures, including legal and contractual requirements.
Working knowledge of the Supervisory & Worker Responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act (Industrial & Construction Regulations), the IHSA Electrical Utility Safety Rules (EUSR), the Utility Work Protection Code (UWPC) and other relevant legislation or codes applicable to the Powerline Technician trade.
1 to 3 years of experience as a systems operator would be an asset;
Operational knowledge of SCADA systems would be an asset;

Position Summary
Halton Hills Hydro is searching for a Distribution Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the electrical distribution system. This position is highly technical and design-focused, responsible for system analysis, engineering design, and infrastructure planning to support both operational and capital programs. The role requires strong expertise in system modeling, analysis, and design, coupled with an ability to provide subject-matter expertise and guidance to the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Conduct system analysis including load flow, short circuit, and relay coordination studies to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Develop engineering plans and designs for new distribution systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficiency standards.
Perform load forecasting and infrastructure planning to accommodate system growth and emerging technologies.
Utilize CYME software to model the distribution network and simulate various operating scenarios.
Provide technical expertise for system troubleshooting and ensure reliable operations.
Support project management activities and coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and company policies.


Qualifications

Education & Certification

Assets & Engineering Supervisor
Position Summary
The Assets & Engineering Supervisor assists in managing Lakeland Power’s Engineering team, GIS systems, as well as asset management programs, policies, and procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for distribution system design, distribution asset management standards, asset condition assessments, environmental disposal of end-of-life assets, SCADA systems, GIS, Joint Use, Line Loss studies, and capital planning based on Lakeland Power’s 5-year plan. Wataynikaneyap Power PM Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of FortisOntario Inc., acts as the Project Manager of Wataynikaneyap Power LP (“Wataynikaneyap Power”). Wataynikaneyap Power is a licensed transmission entity, majority-owned by a partnership of 24 First Nation communities in partnership with Fortis Inc. and other private investors. The partnership is an unprecedented undertaking and has constructed 1,800 kilometres of 230 kV, 115 kV, and 44 kV transmission lines and 22 substations in northwestern Ontario. IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
(Full-Time Permanent Position)
This position will report to the Corporate Supervisor, Enterprise Infrastructure and Security. We are looking for an organized problem-solver with a positive attitude with the ability to prioritize and work well independently and within a team environment. The IT Systems Administrator will work from the Thunder Bay office, under the general day-to-day direction of the Corporate Supervisor, Enterprise Infrastructure and Security. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment and compliance with Company and regulatory processes, hardware/software management, providing technical solutions, and much more! Incumbent must ensure all work assigned is performed efficiently, while demonstrating a personal commitment to the safety of co-workers, the public, oneself and the environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·         Post-secondary education in an Information Technology-related discipline, such as Computer Science, Computer Programming, Business Information Systems, or similar.
·         Experience with Cloud platforms considered an asset.
·         Experience with one or more ITSM platforms would be considered an asset.
·         Extremely motivated and self-directed with excellent interpersonal, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills to work with our internal customers.
·         Up-to-date vendor certification(s) considered an asset.
·         Must have a valid Ontario “G” driver’s license and maintain a clean driver’s abstract
·         Travel will be required for job duties.
·         Candidates who speak/understand Anishinaabe or Anishininiimowin and/or have meaningful experience working with or for First Nation communities in Northwestern Ontario (preferred)

We are currently seeking a Distribution Engineer to join our team.  This is a non-union position based in Sudbury, Ontario.
 
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of distribution design and construction standards, as well as distribution equipment specifications. 
 
 Other responsibilities will include:
 

Distribution system short-term and long-term growth and betterment planning.
Assist in load flow and loss optimization analysis, fault level studies and fuse/relay coordination.
Prepare reports to regulatory bodies such as the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) on matters pertaining to distribution system reliability, maintenance, and safety compliance.
Support the development of planning, operating, maintenance and capital expenditure budgets for the distribution system.
 
The successful applicant must possess the following qualifications:
 

A four-year University degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent by the Professional Engineers Ontario.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
Five years of experience working with utility distribution systems.
A valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence is required.
